Governance

Every commitment here has an owner.

What Bbabsal will and will not claim, who is accountable for each of those commitments, and what happens when one is breached.

What applies, and who answers for it

01

Every commitment below has a name against it.

Mining is a regulated disclosure environment because the industry's worst episodes were rarely caused by bad geology. They were caused by a number that travelled further than the evidence behind it.

Bbabsal is early and privately held, and does not carry the governance apparatus of a listed producer. The standards below are the ones that apply now. The Chief Executive is accountable for technical and operational statements, and the Director of Business Strategy and Investor Relations for anything published or given to a counterparty. A breach is corrected in public and the correction is dated.

Claims
Adrian Sakala
No mineral resource or reserve has been declared. Nothing we publish states or implies one. Third party results are attributed, and are never positioned so a reader could transfer them to Bbabsal.
Figures
Mweemba Ntembe
Every recurring figure has one source, one status and one owner. The same number appears in every document.
Relationships
Adrian Sakala
A discussion is a discussion. Nothing is presented as agreed until it is signed.
Land and community
Adrian Sakala
Exploration proceeds with the consent of the communities whose land it crosses. Social performance is a licence to operate, not a reporting exercise.
Artificial intelligence
Mweemba Ntembe
Drafts and analysis may be machine assisted. Nothing leaves the company without a named human decision, and no automated system moves money, signs, or asserts a claim.
Corrections
Mweemba Ntembe
Errors are corrected in public and dated. A quiet edit is a second error.

Board

03

A board is being formed. Appointments will be announced when they are made, and not before.
